Theatre

A photo of a sign indicating the right direction to go if you want to go to a particular theatre.

I don’t want to say how I got this shot and pretend that, whilst the sign itself is not written backward and there was no software processing used to render the lettering backward, there was some sort of mysterious and secret technique applied to capture the sign as it is. However, truthfully the way I captured the sign appearing as though the lettering is backward is far more straightforward than I’d like to imply.

This is my submission into the one hundred-and-twenty-ninth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

The theme for this one is “Favorite Images of 2020“.

My favourite image of 2020 is one I can’t share until the person I shot it for shares it, but this one was shot during the same event the photo I am not able to share yet was shot at and I also like this one a fair bit due to how devoid of external context it appears.

The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:

Week 1 – Patti

Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya

Week 3 – Amy

Week 4 – Tina

This week’s challenge is curated by Tina. The next one will be guest curated by Anne Sadler of Slow Shutter Speed.

The challenges are pretty fun and there’s a lot of room for interpretation that doesn’t get in the way of enjoyment. If you’re into photography, then I suggest participating, or at the least checking out what other people are submitting.

I hope you enjoy.
