Here’s a photo of windows as found on the carriage of a train, as well as the exterior surface that comprises part of the carriage of the train of which these windows are a part.
I feel as though this photo being in monochrome brings out a bit of the dirt on the carriage’s exterior. I also feel as though it enhances the patterns formed by the orderly positioning of the windows, as well as the raised lines both on either side and in between the windows.
I’m not sure why, but the surface of the lines in between the windows seems smoother to me than any of the other surfaces.
This is my submission into the seventy-ninth Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The theme for this one is “Window With A View“.
I feel that this photo applies due to a large variety of scenes available when looking out the window of a train carriage at various points during a journey.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This one is hosted by Amy. The next will be hosted by Tina.
I recommend checking out the challenge to see how people interpret each theme.
I also recommend giving it a go.
I hope you enjoy.
That is a cool shot of the train windows! Well captured. 🙂
