Low Tide Sunrise

Not that high tide made much of a difference at this part of Smiths Lake.

Now that I think about it, maybe it was high tide.

Anyway, behold: A photo of Smiths Lake (a part I’ve shot a few times) during sunrise.

The “Reflection” of the land kind of appears scratched in a way.

I like that it shows the water as not quite being still, and that the reflection is like an ambiguous shape rather than a clear reflection of the land.

This is my submission into Leanne Cole‘s photo challenge for this week.

The theme for this one is “Reflections”.

I suggest checking out Leanne’s photography, as well as checking out what other people submit into the challenge.

You can find the challenges here.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
