Hawks Nest Dunes

One of the places visited on the recent field trip.

Larges swathes of sand with a bit of vegetation (and much more vegetation behind the dunes).

I like the simplicity of this photo.

Not too much detail and the soft colouring doesn’t prevent the massiveness of the area coming through.

I’m sharing this photo as part of The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.

The theme this week is “Something Different“.

This being a landscape is not necessarily something different for me.
It being of sand dunes is something kind of different in that it’s uncommon for me to get photos of them, so I think it counts for the challenge.
