There’s something slightly unpleasant about sitting in a seat with the sun beaming down upon the back of your neck whilst the rest of your body remains refreshingly cooled.
This is not the most pleasant experience that I’ve had, but I’m feeling a bit lazy so it will have to remain as is for the time being.
There was an election yesterday. It was for the state of New South Wales. The voting was conducted and then the votes were counted and at least some of the results are already known, which is amazingly fast, I think.
And so everything keeps on going, people will remain angry about things, life will go on. A hulking shell of what a city should be shall continue to be inhabited and people will get on with their lives.
I will keep sitting here and do what I can to hold the government to task, as, even if the vote went another way, all government should be critiqued, regardless of how much you may or may not support them.
For now, there will be the doing of the cycling within what will be considered a reasonable amount of time. That time of course being within the next thirty minutes, I believe.
It is a nice day for it and it’ll be roughly the same amount of time as it would to just catch public transport to work.
Then again, maybe I’ll instead choose to be lazy and take public transport anyway, as that way I can rest my legs and read a book.
Life is hard. These are really complex decisions and I know not which one I should go for.
Woe is me, woe is me and so on and so forth, blah blah blah, you get the idea.
My neck is still feeling the impact of the sun, if that is anything worth noting.
Out side the sun beams down bright and shiny and upon the earth its light is being cast.
In this area there seems to be a lack of storm activity at the moment and that is something that I’m am neither here, nor there about, as it is just weather.
Guess it means that the clothes can be washed without much issue. That’s always a good thing.
For the time being I get to sit here and beaver away at the words that I am trying to get down on paper of the metaphorical format and I will keep on beavering away!
There’s no real reason to do so, but at least it keeps my hands warm and moving.
But soon I shall reach the limit of my tether and will once more have to retreat and lick the wounds of my fingers, as there is something something and so on and so forth and here is the part where I try to wax poetic but then fail to do so as it would be apparent and there needs to be a little bit more mystery, I think.
The time it took to write five-hundred words: 06:05:59
I was kind of going to writer about the state election, but then didn’t.
Then I had nothing.
Written at home.
