A hypothetical decision is made in real, or so they say.
There is no telling as to which way the snow will run, but instead of running it shall compact upon itself and form layers of white spread across a non-linear landscape.
It shall create its own as all colour is drained and the burn is reflected off, therefore requiring greater layers of protection. The burn and cold combine and form some sort of unpleasant beast that has no corporeal form, but there is still a way to combat its foul decision and that is usually through preparation, protection and sustenance.
Across the landscape you must go, for there is a great distance to cover in order to see all the things that want to be seen by your eyes so that they can happily feast upon the imagery of which you would be presenting to them, of course.
All draped in the colour of snow and all colourless, yet the detail would remain rich and apparent.
All emphasised and diminished in some form or another and all there is is all to see. There is plenty out there and it is up to you to traverse the vastness of it all, for no one can show you these to you except for yourself, and a guide of course. But there is no guide, so you must experience the world. Yes, you.
Camping out in the snow would be a fun thing, but sometimes it is much better to make a small, looping journey rather than a large one.
Still, there should be plenty of time to ruminate on the proceedings and sit among the snow, waiting for the seasons to pass on by as the landscape changes with the passing shadows and the contrast and combat between night and day. Sun shall rise and fall, moon shall glide across the perceived sky and the stars, so far away from us all shall shine on down and greet the world, but never reach us any closer than we would probably hope.
Well, we probably wouldn’t as, if the stars were too close, that may cause a few problems, but that is beside the point right now.
Rivers will still flow, but only slowly and in a way that we cannot perceive with immediacy. There will be more persistent flows in warmer climates and it will not be long before a warmer climate approaches us.
For now, there is the compacted snow and its traversable nature that you must breach and approach. There are things to see that will appear before you and you must see them with the things known as eyes. The sensors in them will help discern the wonders of nature.
There is of course the need to eat and that will be something that arises, so food shall be had and the landscape will be draped in the compressed snow that shall be crossed with no amount of small difficulty, and the colour shall remain temporarily drained.
The time it took to write five-hundred words: 06:12:96
Writing this hurt my right hand which suggests that I was not in a good position to write, which further suggests that I need to change my posture to a better one.
Not sure as to what was going on here. Tuned out but probably not enough.
Once more uploaded a bit of time after finishing, for I am at home and this was not written at home.
Written at work.
