Another photo made possible due to the power of rainfall.
I think that the water’s form is really nice and smooth in this shot.
Part of it looks like an extension of the rope.
I like that there’s a minimal amount of detail in this photo. I think that if this had been a busy photo, then it wouldn’t have worked.
It probably also helps that I zoomed in so I could get rope and water “Close Up“.
I’m sharing this photo as part of The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge.
The challenge is hosted by four people and cycles weekly:
Week 1 – Patti
Week 2 – Ann-Christine aka Leya
Week 3 – Amy
Week 4 – Tina
This week is hosted by Leya and next week’s will be hosted by Amy.
I hope you enjoy.
Nice shot – Well done catching those drops falling! And I agree about the serenity of it – would not have worked with a “busy” one.

Cheers and glad you think so 🙂
The one thing I think I need to try next time is a faster shutter speed and higher ISO.

Clever idea and powerful photo to stand in a post all on its own – and it does look like an exstension of the rope – many things to see

Perfection!! Those who haven’t tried it won’t know how difficult it is to catch it perfectly

Yeah. But then again, what is perfect in this instance?
There’s so many approaches.
