And so I sit here, at a desk, but it is not my usual desk, for I am not at work. I am at home and I am working on things and I am at a desk doing the work that needs to be done in order to do the work that needs to be done.
Are you following? Good.
That is all to say that I am yet to start work for the day, for there are still things that need to come before the work of the day at the work of the place begins.
I am going to be getting as much done as possible beforehand, of course. But that may mean that instead of actually doing the things, I may instead be a lazy person of lazy stature. Or something like that. It is too early to tell.
So I’ve moved and I’m settling in nicely. At a desk where I don’t feel like I have to hunch all the time. That is a massive bonus, let me tell you.
I am working on a new computer of sorts and it is already making things much faster and more efficient. The old computer is still here and still will be loved as much as necessary.
For now it is on a bit of a hiatus whilst I work with something significantly more efficient and required for my needs of working. Needs of working need to be worked upon and there are things that this does much faster than the old power house that the older computer is.
Why am I talking about this? This does not matter. There are other things in which are more important to discuss.
Actually, there’s not much to discuss really. The last week has been busy but relaxing. There was a night recently where I went to bed late and woke up late and then I felt temporally displaced. That was weird. Still a bit tired, but what can I do, other than keep on keeping on?
I’m enjoying where I am. I’m glad to have my plants back. Blah blah blah. You get the idea.
Things are going well and I’m getting back into a work ethic of getting as much done as much as possible without being lazy about it all.
I guess at the moment life feels really good, but at the same time the year feels like it’s gone on for a really long time. We’re only up to day twenty-two and I already feel like I’ve been living this year for far longer than I should. Oh well. The dilution of the passage of time… wait; that’s not the right phrase, is it?
Do I even care right now?
What I do care about is getting a bunch of things done before I head to work this afternoon.
Will I get that bunch done?
Well, that is for time to tell and not me, so I guess all I can say is that we’ll see.
The time it took to write five-hundred words: 05:50:74
So I’m going to be picking up the pace once more. Hopefully.
Probably a bit more relaxing.
So this post is kind of okay. A little too lazy, I think.
In other news, soon I’m going to be going through everything here and trying to clean a bunch of things up, so if you’re ever feeling about going diving through all the stuff here for some reason, now’s the time.
Written at home.
