A Eurasian Coot darts upon the face of the water, food in mouth, off to some location where it may be able to consume in peace.

Whilst I think this would have been better if the head was in focus, I haven’t captured a photo of a Eurasian Coot running at this angle before and I’m pretty happy with the result.

You get a good idea of the bird’s motion, where its going, its speed and how it moves.

I like how the water is impacted. It makes for a nice contrast between it and the still water.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
