Five-Hundred Word Challenge 459: Walking and Something About a Carp

Once more, the morning is here and I am here where I am, which is in a building that is larger than it appears as you don’t actually get to see much of the building from the outside, or you  do, depending on your viewing angle.

Walking a lot more than usual which is a good thing as it means the muscles in my legs are getting stronger which means I can tackle longer, more arduous walks, so long as I keep pushing on and going forward.

Sometimes you need to rest a little, but for now as the walks are pretty basic, rest can wait.

I want to walk more than I currently am, but walking the amount that I am is good enough.

I can walk to work, I can walk to home, I can walk to the park, to the forest, to the everything in between all the cracks.

It is the morning of mornings in which I walk and wherever I can go is where I will be taken, as the object of desire is the goal of intent and I am the one carrying the torch, as it were.

Perhaps there will be the carp of destiny in which I will talk to at  the end of it all. There will be a conversing of the ages and somehow I will see the end of the journey along with the carp and we will walk toward the horizon, hand in hand and look forward to a destiny that can only be felt and not heard, seen and not heard, felt and not felt, as it were, so to speak and so on and so forth.

I do know that if I keep going forward on the walking of the walks, there may be horses.

I also know that somehow, somewhere I will see a tree surrounded by other trees and not buildings, therefore seeing something that involves more green than it does grey, or gray.

Perhaps all of this is a little too much to consider, but I do not have some sort of cosmic orange juice this morning and the only thing that I have drunk is coffee and all I want to do is stay at home and not walk, but I am sitting and not walking, but soon there will be walking and walking will need to be done as I will need to go to the kitchen and get something to drink, unless I choose not to get something to drink. I do know that I need to put my food in the fridge in order for it to be cooled and therefore make it easier to eat at a later time in the future.

If I do that, then at least it will be chilled and stay preserved to some extent for the lunch that the food is intended to be, but that of course involves walking and walking is something that I verily will have to conduct this morning.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 04:58:35

Happy with the speed and the start.

The rest could have been better.

Written at work.
