Five-Hundred Word Challenge 431: I’ve Walked, I’ve had Breakfast

Well, once more into the fold, as they say.

I guess that would not be an accurate phrase to use for a morning such as this.

It is a little cold, I’ve walked, I’ve had breakfast, I am at work and I hear that it’s likely to be really busy due to a bunch of wonderful system issues.

To be honest, I think I’m looking forward to the challenge.

I did not approach work yesterday, as it was originally planned.

Instead, I stayed at uni and worked on the assignment that needed to be handed in as I was still rather ill.

Would have rather spent the time getting home a bit sooner and recovering instead of going to work and potentially coughing and spluttering over everything.
It does not make for a fun time for customer and customer service representative alike.

So now I’m here and I still feel a little wretched, but I’m active and that’s always a good thing.

Now to turn that being active into something more tangible when it comes to doing the thing with the voice that makes the customers want to do the things and not the other things.

The weather, whilst cold this morning, made for something pleasant when walking.

I think it may be due to warming up whilst walking.

It rained quite lightly and only for a very brief period, but there was indication that it rained overnight at some point.

Doing more walking is always good. I’m finding that, at my current location, it doesn’t take much more time to get around to places than using public transport (sans some locations), so I’m keeping a little more money in my proverbial pocket at the end of each week.

Cycling would, of course take even less time, but this week is not a week for cycling, sadly.

Well, it probably is, but at the moment I feel not like cycling and would rather direct my energy to walking.

Probably a good thing considering the wetter weather that has been in the second half of this week.

I should probably be more prepared than I am at the moment, but it won’t take long for me to make sure that everything is good to go.

Well, I hope that it won’t take long. Sometimes it can take a long, long time but this morning it won’t take long.

What am I even going on about at this point in time?

Soon there shall be walking in the bush once more. This is something that shall be achieved by walking into the bush.

This is something that I can do soon and soon it shall be done.

For now, rest, recovery and some other stuff which will then be followed by cramming for one last exam that sits on the fast approaching proverbial horizon.

Huh. I thought that would finish off this little post of this morning, but it didn’t, so I better expand and push out to some kind of end.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 06:41:12

Alright speed, not great post.

I hit a point where I kind of came to a halt whilst writing this, hence the partial shift.

Written at work.
