Weathered Rocky Landscape

Being exposed to a few of the elements, you can see that this area is quite “Weathered“.

Very much like all of Australia.

It makes me wonder how this particular area would have looked thousands of years ago.

The rock on the right is quite large. It’s larger than it appears in this photo.

I like the way that the rock flattens out, its texture and form, the pattern it creates, as well as the colour and light shift throughout the photo.

It makes me think about the history of Avoid Island.

This is my submission into The Daily Post‘s photo challenge for this week.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!
