Tree Among the Rocks

I wonder as to how this tree has survived for as long as it has.

I’m fairly certain that it would have been exposed to a lot of salt, and it doesn’t seem as though there would be a significant amount of nutrients that would help sustain its “Growth“, but I am not exactly a tree expert, so I don’t know.

In a rocky landscape, this tree serves to break both the colour and the shape of the area.

This is my submission into The Daily Post‘s photo challenge for this week.

I hope you enjoy.

About Stupidity Hole

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should. I have a page called MS Paint Masterpieces that you may be interested in checking out. I also co-run Culture Eater, an online zine for covering the arts among other things. We're on Patreon!

I like the shape of this tree, and it’s location. I definitely would have shot it, given the chance.
