Five-Hundred Word Challenge 302: Another Field Trip

Well, if you’re reading this, then it means that I have written what you are reading.

It also means that I am currently on the last day of the second field trip of this semester that I must complete for my studies, but this time it is a field trip that is more directly related to what it is that I want to do once I have finished with the lengthy and arduous education that I am undertaking.

It is one of many a day and one where I will sleep in a tent each night of the field trip.

I am only looking forward to the field trip to an extent right now.

However, when this goes up it will be the last day of the field trip. A few hours after this has reached your eyes, it is likely that I will be heading home.

For those who read this well after it has been uploaded, then it is likely that I am already home or somewhere else other than home.

I’m sure that I will have had some sort of fun, but right now I do not feel as though I will.

Such is life.

I would rather be at home, working on other things.

Of course they can wait, but they are still things that I’d prefer to invest my time in, despite them not being things that I need to do in order to further my university education.

Well, at least on the field trip there will be whale watching.

Of course when I say that I mean on a boat.

There will be no approaching of the whales whilst both they and I are underwater at the same time in order for me to watch them do whatever it is that whales do when they are not watched by people.

I imagine it is as exciting as something that may not necessarily be exciting.

There will also be a lot of research.

There will definitely be swimming. If there’s anything that I am looking forward to in particular, it is the swimming as I’ll be able to hit the waves each morning before breakfast and hopefully after research.

It will be interesting to see how I feel about the field trip once I return, but right now the feeling is not one of excitement.

I probably will be really happy with how it turns out.

Well, with that being said, I guess that I will write about how the field trip was once I get back.

Until then, this is something that you are reading that I wrote in advance. It is not something that was the greatest bit of text I’ve ever written, but it was a slice of life strung together by a series of thought that I had that were probably not worth presenting.

Oh well.

On the plus side, this field trip will lead to plenty of photos taken.

Plenty of photos, and hopefully plenty of opportunities to swim.

The time it took to write five-hundred words: 07:42:42

There has been a bit too much writing in one day for me.

I imagine that one day this will not be too much writing at all.

Written at home.

I'm some guy that does stuff. Hoping to one day fill the internet with enough insane ramblings to impress a cannibal rat ship. I do more than I probably should.
