Where I am currently sitting I can hear the sound of what should be a train.
Perhaps it is the resonance of the sound of what should be a train.
I would say that I do not know, but considering that I’ve said that a number of times and this time I do know as to what is causing the sound, I will not say that I do not know for it would be a complete lie.
I do know that it is indeed the sound of a train. It does not quite sound like a train but it most definitely is a train.
It doesn’t quite sound like a train due to the amount of walls between the train tracks and I, but it still resembles the sound of a train passing.
It’s just really muted.
Actually, muted probably isn’t the correct word to use in this case. It would be more correct to say that it is somewhat muffled.
The sounds of trains passing by is quite familiar to this place, as this place is really close to the train station.
It takes about three minutes to walk to the train station from here.
There’s a lot of vantage points nearby to watch the trains pass by if that is what someone likes to do with their spare time.
There’s also the ability to sometimes feel the vibrations of the trains passing as they pass by this particular place.
Supposedly you get used to the sound of the trains passing by, but I’ve yet to find that to be the case, for most of the time I do notice their sound which seems to resemble a low, short drone, and I’ve been coming to this place since February.
With that being said, I used to find it much more annoying and distracting to hear.
Now I consider it to be tolerable to some extent and far less distracting.
Sometimes I have to wonder if everyone who has lived here no longer notices the sound of the trains passing by.
Surely not everyone can tune it out as though it was nothing but an insignificant annoyance that is not worth the consideration that some would give it if they were unfamiliar with the frequency and loudness, for whilst it usually is quiet, sometimes the sounds of the trains passing by is much louder than usual.
I’m not sure as to why that is the case. It seems strange to me, but then again many things do, and yet not many things do for some reason.
Right now I cannot hear the sounds of the trains passing by, for there appears to be none at the station, either approaching or departing.
I am trying my best to listen out for their drone, but there is nothing out there for me to hear, other than various other sounds, such as smaller vehicles passing, doors opening and closing and perhaps the occasional conversation.
Well, part of a (probably) long conversation.

When I sat down to write I was hoping for something a bit more fantastic.
I like that this is fairly grounded, but I do think that I engaged in a little too much repetition.
