A Fire at Smiths Lake

Here’s a picture of a fire at Smiths Lake.

You can see how it does not burn out of control.

On the second night of the field trip some of my fellow students had a fire going for some reason.

I took this picture (among others) of it as I liked seeing how the flame moved.
It might also have to do with my lack of seeing fires in person most of the time.

I like how there’s a few trails of flame rising from the main body.
I also like how solid the fire appears.

It seems to be quite intense in its appearance and form.

I hope you enjoy.

  1. Even I love watching fire; it is alive and it is in motion. And it is powerful. Very.
No wonder humankind must be fascinated by it.
