Here’s a short story written about an email.
I believe it was in response to someone at work not receiving one that someone sent.
No one would ever dare accuse me of having written a masterpiece with this, but I think it’s interesting enough to share.
I hope you all enjoy it.
The email was on its way, moving quite humbly, when it decided to break into tune. However, it managed to overstep its mark as it was far too occupied with it’s song and journeyed to far into the depths of the great unknown known only as the internet. The email felt lost and confused. However, it had the resolve and conviction to make it to its current ultimate destination.
The journey was fraught with danger, but not much actually.
Although, with that being said, it had to bypass a flying rotational JPEG and a literal Trojan horse in data form as they were locked in a lengthy debate about iron and it’s every day practicalities.
There was also another point in the journey, where the email fell through Youtube and gained the knowledge of everything. However, due to the email’s maximum capacity of 10 megs, this almost destroyed it. However, it was lucky enough to remove all of the information with a quick undoing and thus its journey resumed.
After a long and largely uneventful journey, the email had finally reached the destination folder that was intended for it originally. It began to rejoice and started walking towards the entrance when a space wolf named Bernard, locked in a battle with a cosmos axolotl unexpectedly warped from space into the internet and managed to knock the email into the incorrect folder.
